Garrick started racing Motocross and BMX when he was 6 years old. This passion led him to become Operator, Builder, Lead Designer and co-owner of Topp Trails. He graduated with Director’s Honors from the Universal Technical Institute in Automotive/Diesel Technology and Repair. Garrick spent ten years building professional terrain parks, motocross tracks, and BMX tracks in the Lake Tahoe area. For two years he was the lead field mechanic for El Dorado County Department of Transportation, followed by three years as lead Snow Cat Technician for Sierra at Tahoe.

Garrick now works in partnership with Progressive Trail Design and together they have created world class downhill mountain bike trail, single track trail, and municipal bike parks.
