Dave Renko is one of the most recognizable faces and names associated with Arkansas trail building. His extensive work as an advocate, volunteer leader, project organizer, writer and public speaker make him one of our most valued assets. His expertise working with land management agencies and bureaucracy set him apart as well. A true pioneer, Dave may have built more single track by hand than our entire team combined. If you don’t know him by his trail work, you might recognize him as the saxophone player for Arkansas’ “Favorite Sons”, the Cate Brothers!
